Assessing the Value of Twitter Content for Marketing

There has recently been a lot of drama surrounding Twitter’s authenticity as a content marketing platform. Companies that once raved about Twitter as an outlet for promoting content are now questioning it’s value. Is Twitter able to stack up against other popular social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook?

Twitter has always been one of the quickest ways to relay news and information to your target audience. With a 280 (formerly 140) character limit on your tweets, companies have to share messages that are short, sweet, and to the point.

So far this year, Twitter has been trying to improve their ‘health’ status as a social media platform. By improving their ‘health’, Twitter simply means they want to improve their overall user experience. Twitter has housed a lot of negativity because of users abusing their platform, often by trolling, spamming content, or by using bots. This year, Twitter has made a few efforts that they hope will clean-up the platform and make it more authentic for users.
